Secureframe's trust center, reviewed

Secureframe customers get a trust page alongside their compliance platform. For most, that is enough to start.

Secureframe Trust is the trust page offered with Secureframe, the compliance automation platform. It presents compliance status and documents to buyers from the evidence Secureframe collects, and Secureframe also sells questionnaire automation. For an existing customer it is the obvious first step.

What does it do well?

  • Connected evidence. Status is drawn from your compliance monitoring.
  • One vendor for compliance and the trust page.

What should we watch for?

  • Plan inclusion. Confirm what your tier includes.
  • Operation. The page does not answer custom questions or approve requests.

Who is it for?

Secureframe customers. Compare in the comparison, and read the GetSOC2 Secureframe review for the platform itself.

How do we set it up well?

  1. Decide what status to show. Showing live control status publicly is a choice. Show frameworks and dates at minimum; show live monitoring only if you are comfortable with a reviewer seeing a failing test.
  2. Load the gated library. Current report, bridge letter, penetration test letter and policy set.
  3. Add what Secureframe does not know. Subprocessors, residency and your privacy contact need writing by hand. See what to publish.
  4. Write the approval rules and name the approver.
  5. Put it on your subdomain and link it from your site and sales emails.

What should a Canadian customer check?

Ask where Secureframe hosts trust page content and viewer logs, and whether pricing is in USD. Add your Canadian data residency statement and, if you handle Quebec personal information, your Law 25 governance summary. The platform shows compliance status; Canadian buyers also want to know where the data lives, and that part is yours to write.

Who runs it once it is live?

The page answers the common questions. Custom questions, document approvals and upkeep still need an owner. If nobody on the team has the hours, a managed service can run the page on the platform you already pay for.

Common questions

Should a Secureframe customer buy a separate trust centre platform?

Only at high review volume or with specific workflow needs. Start with the included trust page and move up if it becomes the bottleneck.
